A new mattress is needed because when you sleep on an old mattress you miss out on the good sleep and support your mind and body needs to wake refreshed in the morning.

Unless you have an adjustable or platform base, this is highly recommended. A properly supported mattress will give you additional years of use and comfort. The mattress and box spring/foundation work together, acting as a unified shock absorber. Manufacturer warranties suggest a matching mattress and box spring/foundation or adjustable base. If the manufacturer deems your support of the mattress not adequate, your warranty may be voided.  Also, for your safety it is imperative to have the matching mattress and box spring/foundation to be FR compliant (flammability).

Firm is not always the best. The best mattress will be the one that feels the most comfortable and supportive to your unique needs. A firm mattress does not provide more support than any other mattress feel. 

Most mattresses are now “no-flip” which means it will continue to give you comfort and support without having to flip it or rotate it. Having comfort layers on both sides can actually cause the materials to break down faster.

Never use a cleaning product because it can breakdown your comfort layers. The best and easiest way is by placing a waterproof mattress protector on your new mattress. A mattress protector can not only protect your mattress, but can help with temperature regulation also. Our mattress protectors are allergen resistant, and waterproof yet still breathable.
