Q. WHY DO I NEED A NEW MATTRESS?
A. A new mattress is needed because when you sleep on an old mattress you miss out on the good sleep and support your mind and body needs to wake refreshed in the morning.
Q. HOW LONG SHOULD MY MATTRESS LAST?
A. Every mattress is different. If you toss at night or wake up with pain it is time to get a new mattress regardless of its age. We recommend checking the law tag and replace at least every eight years.
Q. WHICH BRAND IS BEST?
A. Don’t worry, when you buy from Mattress Firm you get to choose from the best mattress brands. You can compare all the best brands side by side before you decide and rest easy knowing you got the perfect mattress for you at the guaranteed lowest price.
Q. HOW DO I CLEAN MY MATTRESS?
A. Never use a cleaning product because it can breakdown your comfort layers. The best and easiest way is by placing a waterproof mattress protector on your new mattress. Our Protect-A-Bed mattress protector is allergen resistant, waterproof yet still breathable.
Q. SHOULD I BUY A NEW BOX SPRING/FOUNDATION?
A. It is highly recommended. A properly supported mattress will give you even more years of use and comfort. The mattress and box spring/foundation work together, acting as a unified shock absorber. Manufacturer warranties require a matching mattress and box spring/foundation. Also for your safety it is imperative to have the matching mattress and box spring/foundation to be Fire Retardant Compliant.
Q. WHAT SIZES DO YOU CARRY?
A. Twin 39″X75″ | Full 54″X75″ | Queen 60″X80″ | King 76″X80″ Custom sizes including Twin XL (39″x80″), California King (72″x84″) and split queen box springs are not available online but can be purchased in a local Mattress Firm store or by calling 855-500-FIRM
Q. WHAT IS A NO-FLIP MATTRESS?
A. Most mattresses are now no flip which means it will continue to give you comfort and support without having to flip it or rotate it. Having comfort layers on both sides can actually cause the materials to break down faster.
Q. ISN’T A FIRM MATTRESS BETTER?
A. Firm is not always the best. The best mattress will be the one that feels the most comfortable and supportive to you.
Q. WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY OLD BEDDING?
A. Disposing of an old mattress set can be difficult. That’s why when you purchase our Red Carpet Delivery Service the removal of you old mattress set is included. When setting up your delivery appointment let your sleep expert know that you would like to have your old set removed.
Q. WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
A. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. If you would like to purchase using one of our special financing options, please visit a local Mattress Firm store.

Another reason Mattress Firm is making it easy to
get a great night’s sleep - TONIGHT.
There are three levels of comfort to choose from:
FIRM Firm mattresses offer the least surface “give” and would be considered harder in feel to the other mattress surfaces. If you like a solid feel rather than soft, firm may be your choice.
Medium Medium mattresses offer more surface “give” and provide a softer surface comfort. This is a happy balance between firm and soft top.
SOFT Soft mattresses provide the ultimate in surface comfort and firmness, cradling and supporting your every move with pillow like softness while you sleep.
Remember - comfort is different than support. Your support and comfort
needs are unique, based on your individual body type and sleeping shape.
One bed does not fit all. You can choose firm or contouring support in
combination with any of the above comfort choices.

When it comes to mattresses, one size definitely doesn’t fit all.
There are several factors you should keep in mind prior to
purchasing your perfect mattress for your bed.
Consider the following: The mattress should be longer than the tallest person sleeping on it. The bed width should allow enough space to fold your arms behind your head without going beyond the mattress edge or touching your partner’s elbows (for two adults, we recommend either a queen or a king).

TWIN Twin mattresses can accommodate one child or one adult sleeper although the length of the mattress might be too short for an adult. Twin size mattresses are used for children’s rooms, bunk beds, daybeds and smaller spaces such as guest bedrooms.
FULL Full or double mattresses provide more width for your sleeping area. A full size mattress is ideal for one person. If you divided the mattress in half two people would only have 27 inches of sleep space (or the equivalent of a crib mattress).
QUEEN If you prefer more living space in your master bedroom, a queen size might be what you are looking for. Also, queen mattresses are ideal for someone who likes additional width and height while sleeping; which makes it a great choice for growing children and taller adults.
KING If you have the space in your bedroom, a king size mattress is the best choice for couples; you each have a sleeping service equivalent to a twin extra long mattress. It is also great for growing families or pet owners.
Specialty Mattress Sizes

TWIN XL 39”x80”

Twin XL mattresses are great space savers and are commonly found in dorm rooms and offer an additional five inches of length to your sleeping space.

CALIFORNIA KING 72”x84”

If you are looking for additional length in your sleep surface, a California King might be what is right for you. Four inches of width are taken from a traditional king mattress and added to the length.

IT’S TIME TO BUY A NEW MATTRESS WHEN:

  • You wake up with
    aches and pains that
    dissipate throughout
    the day
  • Your mattress shows
    visible signs of wear
    and tear
  • You feel the coils
    when lying on your
    bed
  • You hear noises/creaks
    on your mattress when
    moving around
  • You roll toward the
    middle of the bed
